Steps to Upgrade SuiteCRM 7.11.13 to 7.14.6

I am currently using SuiteCRM 7.11.13 and want to upgrade to 7.14.6. Could you please guide me on the best steps to follow for a smooth upgrade?

I would appreciate recommendations on:

  • Any prerequisites or preparations needed before upgrading
  • The correct upgrade path (should I upgrade step-by-step or directly?)
  • Best practices to avoid issues
  • Any known compatibility concerns with PHP or database versions

I have upgraded to version 7.12.x using a silent upgrade, but now I am receiving these warnings, and nothing is being displayed except for these warnings.

How did you handle the PHP version upgrades? Check the compatibility matrix, ideally you upgrade using a PHP version that matches both SuiteCRM versions, “before” and “after” versions.

All versions are compatible; I was able to upgrade it successfully after few changes and additions.

@pgr I have successfully upgraded from 7.11.13 to 7.12.8. Now, I want to upgrade to 7.14.6.

Currently, version 7.12.8 is working fine on PHP 7.4.33, but version 7.14.6 is not running on this PHP version. Do I need to fulfill any prerequisites?

Do we need to change anything in the database during the upgrade, or does it work fine?

I think we do not need to change anything.
