Standard and advance search

When I do global search a message appeared ( Use standard SugarCRM search ). What am I doing wrong? Optimise advanced opendiscovery index is working in schedules.

Hi Stratus,

Navigate to: yourcrmurl/index.php?module=AOD_Index&action=index

This will show you if records are indexing or not.

Thanks,

Will.

This you said brings me a blank page. Instead If I go to schedules in AOD see the results …

But when I took the check out in AOD settings AOD seems now to working and not telling me to use the standard search. It is that possible?

Hi Stratus,

AOD will always give you the link/option to revert to using the standard CRM search even if it is enabled/working.

Is the search returning results now?

Thanks,

Will.

Only when AOD in settings is unchecked then I can have global search. If I enable it by check it says use standard search. Strange though because I have seen it working…few days ago.

Hi Stratus,

Did you upgrade, install any modules or change anything within the CRM? Have you tried resetting permissions?

Thanks,

Will.

Nope it is a fresh installation in fedora 20 box but it is the third one time that it is installed as app on this box. The other 2 I uninstalled via the suitecrm uninstall tool of course.

Take a peek at this thread. This is what I did to get AOD working.
