My telephone system has an integration with sugarcrm CE using the soap api starting with sugar 5.1.x. What are my chances of getting this to work with suitecrm?

The I was able to install the plugin to my suitecrm server, and the click to call buttons are available, but they do not appear to be working. Also on inbound calls, it is not logging the call.

We had a similar challenge with an Asterisk integration. The CRM API changed quite a bit and code had to be heavily rewritten. :S

Yes, we ended up re-coding it from scratch using the templates provided.

May I know how to write a simple (hello world) program with SOAP.
Please guide me on how to do it
