After my upgrade to 7.5 (failed) and 7.5.1 (successful) I am not able to send using SMTP no matter what server I attempt to use. I have tried several known-good (including the one that was working flawlessly prior to the upgrade) and am getting no love. Am I a purple elephant or are there others? I see some threads that do not look particularly relevant, but nothing about failure since the upgrade. Just me?

I recommend you keep track of the issue for updates/fixes.
