Not sure how this happened, but saving is now slow across accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities. Viewing the records is okay, bringing up lists of opportunities and accounts is okay, and getting through the admin pages is fine, but there is a considerable (over a few minutes) delay after saving a record and having the return detail page complete.
I checked the admin settings and develop mode is no one. Logging is set to fatal although I did turn it on debug briefly to check query execution times (nothing substantial).
At first I thought it might be the security group settings, but there was no slowness after the initial implementation of the security groups and I have since removed the security group I created as well. Deleting records also results in considerable delay.
Any other ideas?
This is happening on the hosted version of suiteCRM.
