Shared Calendar

Knowing that we can view each individual user’s calendar in the “Shared calendar” area separately, but i have the following questions:

  1. Is that possible to view these shared calendars in one single shared calendar rather than separate calendars?
  2. Is that possible to view all user’s calendar in my own calendar so I can view everyone calendar under my calendar? How to do?
  3. If I were want to have a calendar that share by a group users for a particular task that we we always do, how can we do that? For example, if we want to have a calendar called as “Machine Testing”, how can we do it?

Thanks.

  1. Yes. In the shared calendar view, select the settings button and then un tick the “Shared Calendar Separate”
  2. No*. You can only view other using the shared week month and shared week view in the calendar module. My calendar is just for you.
  3. Currently you cannot create calendars. A calendar represents the events in the crm for each user. You can use studio to create a many-many relationship between tasks and users. This will create a users subpanel in the detail view for each task you create. So you can select which users you wish to assign the task to. Then you can filter the task by users. You can also use the security groups subpanel to select a group of users.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I am referring to the documentation and see Shared Calendar - Hide Restricted, but I can’t find it from SECURITY GROUPS MANAGEMENT: CONFIGURE, please advise.

To change the security groups you need to be an system administrator. To access the security groups. Select your user name in the right hand corner and then select admin.

You should be able to the select the security groups management.

yes, I log in as an admin but I really can’t see the Shared Calendar - Hide Restricted option at the security group, picture attached for your reference.

I believe you need to have the full security suite extension to see that option. Do you have this installed?

No, I don’t as I thought this option is part of the SuiteCRM because it was mentioned in the documentation.
