I was wanting to keep the current version of SuiteCRM. However, the hosting company is requiring that we upgrade to PHP 5.6 from PHP 5.4. Here are a few questions:
- How do I find the current version of SuiteCRM that I’m running?
- What versions of PHP are supported for my version?
- If I’m forced to move to PHP 5.6 what version of SuiteCRM would I need to upgrade to?
Thanks,
Roger
I wanted to revisit this thread to see if anyone knows the answer to this. I’m being forced to upgrade to PHP 5.6 but it’s not clear which versions of SuiteCRM support which versions of PHP.
See the compatibility matrix
https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Compatibility_Matrix
It’s not updated for the new version 7.6.1, though.
You can check the version you’re running on the Admin menu (top-right of any screen), option “About”.
A more extensive report can be achieved by clicking Admin, then “Admin” option inside the menu, then “Diagnostic tool”.
It looks like I have 7.2.2
Do we know if this is compatible with PHP 5.6?
If not, should I upgrade to 7.4.x?
I’m sorry, I don’t know anything except what is in that matrix…
