I am responsible for a lot of servers for many different customers in disparate data centers. It would be nice to have a ticketing(case), asset tracker, as well as a server performance/bandwidth monitoring capability from a single pane of glass, without having to rotate through countless systems just to troubleshoot. Has anyone been working to create something as such? QR/Bar code support would have to be a must. Even when locating the proper server hostname given, you’re still not certain if that is the right machine. Scanning with a hand held QR device (phone) into SuiteCRM would be suite. Eventually, I would like to see a cohesive homogeneous support portal for all engaged vendors…
Just wishful thinking. It’s probably easiest and best to do this yourself.
