Sending Email

Hello,

This usually works but now I dont know why.

When trying to send emails from the suitecrm I get the error below. I also attached the error.

SMTP server error: 5.5.1 Authentication Required. Learn more at 530 5.5.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=14257 ut10sm3709829obc.20 - gsmtp [/i]

I don’t use Gmail but I think this is a common email issue when you do not authenticate before sending email. It’s an added security feature.
In the [Admin] section you can click on [Email] and make sure [Use SMTP Authentication:] is checked. Also make sure the email address (username), password and port numbers for [outgoing] is correct.
