there has been a “portal plugin” with Joomla - but it is for an old Joomla version, not maintained anymore. So not an option for Suite 8.
Then, there are other plugins in the SuiteCRM store. For WordPress for instance.
A portal however, would be able to do much more than just create cases.
If you only need to create cases, how about using a webform builder and then integrate it with n8n (or make.com or custom entry point) and SuiteCRM?
That leaves you with just a form - unfortunately.
I’ve been testing and integrating UVdesk with SuiteCRM. There you’ve got a full fledged trouble ticket system including a front-end already.
Disadvantage is, you’ll have to integrate those two systems.
Another approach that I’ve been working on is Drupal as a portal. Again very customized and a rather complex project. Drupal can be used / configured as a portal and your frontend to the tickets in your own design / CI.

Actually, it looks as if Make can only do SuiteCRM 7:
If it still requires HTTP requests for 8, then I don’t see the advantage over n8n.
