Can you recommend some good links that provide security strategies for Suite CRM sites? Also are there any good security plugins that you can recommend?

You can find security plugins as per your required features from SuiteCRM store. As well as if you want to find the right records from the history of your system in one tap you can use SuiteCRM History - Activity Subpanel Filter plugin!

I wouldn’t jump too quickly from “I want security” to “I want a security plug-in”.

The most important things to do are all generic web server / PHP app security precautions. You can read some advice here, most of it will apply:
