Scheduledtasks.ext.php is not being autogenerated

I am working with scheduled tasks and I notice that after updating a scheduled task located in public/legacy/custom/Extension/modules/Schedulers/Ext/ScheduledTasks/TaskName.php and after executing quick repair and rebuild it is not autogenerating file public/legacy/custom/modules/Schedulers/Ext/ScheduledTasks/scheduledtasks.ext.php

Any ideas on the reason for this behavior?

Could it be permissions issues?

Or you can try debugging the process in function merge_files in public/legacy/ModuleInstall/ModuleInstaller.php
