We recently installed ver 7.6.6 and when we install the Sale Funnel dashlet it shows as a bar chart, seems as though all the charts are bar charts.
Depending what “Charts” you have chosen from dashlets
You can also create reports - with charts of all kinds
Add dashlet > Report > Select the report > Charts only
This will add the report chart as a dashlet 
Thank you for your response. I am familiar with how I have done it in the past with version 6.X. However when I select the sales funnel it loads a bar chart.
I think it changed around 7.4 ish to a bar chart
