Restrict Invoice for Editing

Dear Forum,

How to restrict Invoice for editing and the invoice number should not be changed because once we edited its showing new invoice number.

You can restrict Users from editing records in a particular module by using Roles (e.g. only accountant roles have access to Invoices). To further edit the new invoice number, usually the invoice number is not editable already as its auto generated… Is this not the case on your system?
