REST API - Current state of play

Hi everyone,

I’m currently evaluating SuiteCRM for my company. I’ve been playing with SugarCRM CE but feel its a dead end in terms of future development.

I was playing with the REST API of SugarCRM CE 6.5 and wasn’t impressed with the implementation. I read that SugarCRM 7.x had a whole new REST API that has been engineered much better.

What is the state of the REST API in SuiteCRM 7.1.5. I’ve tried to find some documentation on the site but not found anything definitive.

I did see this post which gives me hope that Suite has a better REST implementation than Sugar CE.

Could kind soul point me in the direction of the documentation.

The rest api is not something that been enhanced as of yet in SuiteCRM, so for the moment it is identical to that found in Sugar CE 6.5.x
