I’ve been trying to make a very simple chart: each one of my targets has an assigned status, I need a chart displaying counts for each different possible status.
What am I doing wrong?

You must give it a different field for X and for Y, so it can count. In the “fields” tab is where you tell it to “sum” a field.
See this example for Opportunities, it should be easy to adapt to your case.
