Remove fields from form ( Lead, Contact etc)

Hello
There are lot of fields in Contact / Leads/ Targets ´, that is unnecessary. Like “Alternate Address” , fax, IM etc. I want to remove them. Anyone can help on which files I should edit t remove them?

Hi, I read out your query. Please go to the ADMIN and search STUDIO and then Open it. Select that field and remove it easily like drag and drop down which field you want.

You can only delete things that you created yourself but not default values

Hi there,

It would be best to not remove those fields from the database, who knows what the code wants to do with some of them on the backend, safest way is to like recommend, hide them from the default edit and detail view and you should be sorted.
