  • I tried to describe under the experience using suitcrm

Related to Search / Filter features after UPDATED:

  1. With version 7.11.18 all search and filter operations work well and return results for searches.
  2. (Test-a) after updating from 7.11.18 to the 7.11.23 search / Filter feature Filter encountered errors in each module (Lead / Contact / Account / Quotes) - # Note that I have this error 3 -4 times. But really don’t understand, with 3 times before I can pass. One of them, I decided to finish completely and migrate the data to - the time was a great experience and did not encounter the search / Filter feature error.
  3. (Test-B) After UPDATE from 7.11.18 to 7.12.1 the search / Filter feature also has a similar error, completely loss of white results = Nothing.
  4. Specifically as follows: When creating a “New quote” in the Address Information area: Select Account: (Difficult Search) → Selected Account → Select Contact: == Nearly No results , (try on many different accounts) “seems to contact any account, lose”
    **** Pop_up: Do not list the contacts of an Account**

It seems “relationship” between Account and Contact is not durable, “Relationship” Search and Filter also have problems.

Made:

  1. Suitecrm on live
  2. Check the CMOD again the recommended folders and files.
  3. Keeps PHP 7.4 and Hosting
  4. run: [Quick Repair and Rebuild] / [Rebuild Relationships]

Hey there.

I believe I understand your steps, let me just repeat this so I am on the same understanding.

After upgrading to 7.12.1 when you create a new Quote record, the pop-up for Contacts does not filter by account name after you have selected the Account in the above field?

I have tried this on the demo (username/password = will/will) and it worked as expected.

Can you have a look at your Contacts popup after you’ve selected an Account if the URL of the popup window is similar to the below?

  • That’s right, I have this problem not only once, it appears right from the 7.11.10 … after each version upgrade. I met a total of 4 times, adding this 2 more times (7.11.18 to 7.11.23 and 7.11.18 to 7.12.01) Total 6.
  • I only use Shared Hosting for work, and PHP 7.4, the whole is Linux and cPanel
  • I have moved Suitecrm through 3 hosting providers, and cannot improve this situation.

Hmmm,

That is interesting that the URL queries appear to be all the same. I don’t know where “metadata=undefined” is coming from, but I don’t suspect that is an issue considering the url works for other instances.

Ok, looks like we will have to dig deeper.

Set your error log to DEBUG and lets see if there is anything flagged there when you do that type of search. Now you have the URL you can just put that in your browser to execute the query.

The logs there don’t show anything obvious.

But, it got me thinking.

Do you have any access/edit/view roles set up on your records? So say for example. When you create an account do you apply the same security roles to their contacts?

I query and check with 2 roles of Admin and Saleman - of course other members also conducted use.

  1. The roles are almost unchanged from 7.11.10 to 7.11.18 and Update to 7.11.23 /and/ 7.12.2
  2. There is no change ROLES when create new Account or Contact.
  3. Control_man who only user “Assigned to” feature for user assigned

I made the upgrade from the current version 7.11.18 to 7.12.4 (leaps)

  • (NO) Version 7.11.23 is very likely to be the final version
  • (YES) Version 7.12.4 has two “very important” notes I have seen and it is a surprise factor.
  • Complete - the upgrade took place quickly (only applied on Firefox) and it completely Error reported on Chrome (note if you use Chrome)
  • I’m not faulty like the title - Thank you Suitecrm - and recognize the community’s contribution. Thanks
