How to add custom button in edit view mode in Case module in suitecrm

hi,

Detail view i am able to add the custom button . but in the editview i am uanble to add the custom buttom.

in case module in detail view the button is availble and i can code on it.
for when going to modify the case and in the modify form / new case entry form i want to add a custom button next to a custom field to verify the value entered in the custom taxt box is validating some business logic.

any help would be highly appreciated
