Problems trying to upgrade from 7.10.7

I am trying to upgrade from 7.10.7 to a newer version. I had the same result with 7.10.12, and 7.10.36, and 7.11.23.

  1. 504 “Gateway Timeout” during the “Commit Upgrade” process. Is this a problem? When I reload the page, I get what looks like the end of the upgrade log, or the Admin page.

  2. After upgrading, I run “Quick Repair and Rebuild” and the page stops with “Rebuilding Relationships” as the last line. Before upgrading, this page continued to the end: “Database tables are synced with vardefs” and “Return to Administration page”.

  3. Administrative users do not see any content on the “Admin” page.

  4. “Edit User” shows “undefined” below the selection dropdown for “User Type”.

I didn’t see any errors in the log files.

How should I proceed with resolving this issue?

When I try to display the Admin page:

Nothing is added to suitecrm.log.
