Problem with advanced search after upgrading from 7.0.1 to 7.1.4

Hello. I recently upgraded SuiteCRM from 7.0.1 to 7.1.4 – for the most part it went smoothly but there’s a problem with the search feature. When any query is entered in the top right search box, all that comes up is a link that says “Use standard SugarCRM search”. When I click this link the search results come up just fine, but it could get rather annoying for our salespeople if they have to do this every time. I’m hoping there is a fix or setting I can change to have the search bar use the standard search.

I’ve also double checked the advanced search functionality and it appears to be working elsewhere.

Hi Drew,

This is because from 7.0 to 7.1, our custom search module AOD was introduced. This is a full text search, which needs to index on records(ensure the AOD scheduler has run in Admin -> Schedulers).

If you do not wish to use AOD, you can disable it in Admin -> AOD Settings.
