Prevent duplicate contact?

Hi everyone,

I tend to add new contacts to my CRM thru my Outlook via a plugin by Opacus. Sometimes I forget that I already added a contact and it gets entered twice into SuiteCRM. Is there anyway to prevent this -perhaps with a pop-up box before submission?

In this case noticed the same person was added twice - NOTE there was no mispelling of the name and it was entered using the exact same email address. Would there be some way to prevent duplicates via the email field using javascript?
