Im having problems activating the print as pdf in custome module, tryied following an old guide for suitecrm7, but the 8th version is so different.

What steps did you take to create a custom module?

And what steps have you taken to activate the print as pdf button and what problem are you facing?

I’ve done it in SuiteCRM 8 using the old guide you’re probably referring to. Couple of things I ran into is:

  1. You have to make your module a “legacy module” for it to work. Google that on the forum, there are multiple posts on how to do that.

  2. There is an issue with the template parser in 8. It has the wrong URL (not the new structure for 8). See here: https://community.suitecrm.com/t/print-pdf-in-custom-module/76704/8
