Hello together,
so far I found that it is possible to set a default Group for all new created Items.
It I set this to lets say sales group a document created from a member of the manager group is visible by the sales group which I donā€˜t want

Is it possible to connect a new created items the group of the creator.

For example:
If a member of the sales group creates an item, the item has the permission of the sales group.

If a member of the Manager group creates an item, the item has the permission of the Manager group.

If a member of the owners group creates an item, the item has the permission of the owners group.

In Admin / Security Suite Settings, donā€™t configure the ā€œDefault groupā€, leave that as ā€œNoneā€.

Just use the Security Groups inheritance options. This should do what you want (and it is on by default, I believe!).

Thank you pgr for puttin gme on the rigth track.

I had the checkbox cheked, that the roles cannot inherit.
