PDF Template editing problems/horror

I am having difficulties editing the PDF Templates. Once I start editing the template the HTML code seems to be not interpreted normally, so I end with a lot of garbage in the editor screen.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create New PDF tempalte
  2. Load any sample invoice
  3. Save the PDF Template
  4. Edit PDF template. The editor screen contains uninterperted HTML code.

there are no errors in the logs.

What can be the problem?

Thanks, it seems to be same problem.

the version of the suiteCRM is the latest one 7.9.6, running on ubuntu 16.04
