Hello,
how to create a password field?

Already known how to mascherade such as:
“In your metadata file write ‘type’ => ‘Password’ for your field and your field would be created.”

But not a safer way…

Sorry, I don’t know about that method, can you please explain better what you do and why it is insufficient? Are you looking for an encrypted field?

Yes,
what i’ve found is just a way to masquerade the visible data in layout however it is not enough.

And, yes…i’m looking foe encrypted field…any news about that?

No news, I’m afraid, but you can find an old PR on Github providing the feature. Maybe not 100% ready to be merged, these security things can’t be taken lightly. But it might be enough for your needs (or better than nothing), so you can try it…
