Outbound email error

I’m getting the below message in the suitecrm.log when I try to send an email.

Wed Sep 20 16:32:39 2017 [3344][1][SECURITY] User XXX XXX attempted to send an email using incorrect email account settings in which they do not have access to.

The email account has been set up and a test email has been successfully sent and received.

I’m running on Windows 7, with XAMPP (Apache 2.4.27, MariaDB 10.1.26, PHP 7.1.8, phpMyAdmin 4.7.0, OpenSSL 1.0.2, XAMPP Control Panel 3.2.2, Webalizer 2.23-04, Mercury Mail Transport System 4.63, FileZilla FTP Server 0.9.41, Tomcat 7.0.56 (with mod_proxy_ajp as connector), Strawberry Perl 7.0.56 Portable).

Any suggestions?

Did you find a resolution?

No, I didn’t.

I was doing an evaluation of SuiteCRM. Although it promised a lot, in the end I concluded that the current release of SuiteCRM had too many bugs to justify a recommendation to use it.

I was running it on windows for the purpose of the trial with the intention to tun it on a web server if the trial was successful. The bugs with the windows edition weren’t the issue as these were platform related. However, the bugs in some of the the functionality were the issue as these were also present in the demo version on the SuiteCRM website and in the end they proved to be ‘show stoppers’.
