Is the only way to adjust number columns shown in module via a code edit?

Hi Paul,

That’s actually the detail view. You can reduce to 1 column by expanding the layout in Admin -> Studio then selecting your module -> layouts -> Detail view. You cannot increase the number of columns without custom code modifications.
