Notification Issue all types

Hi, any help on what is probably simple job is appreciated. I’m not getting any notifications what so ever, by email, by the bell in the top right, popups or desktop notigications. Crons are running OK. So what am I doing wrong. I’ve checked as many settings as possible but to date no luck. Many thanks in advance.

Please specify SuiteCRM, PHP and SQL version to help you better. Besides that make sure your ourbound email is configured properly.

Turns out it was the email not being configured - something simple - many thanks for your help!!
