Notes: How to make sure only certain attachments in Notes Module

Hello,

I’m having the problem that the notes module is full of spammy attachments I don’t want to have there (like pictures in signatures)

So the Ideas i had to solve this problem

  1. The notes module should only check a special Email-Adress, where the attachment i want to have in the notes moudle are send to.
  2. A Workflow that deletes all Emails beside the ones i want to have (the Email-Subject always start with the same word)
  3. Any other idea?

Unfortunately i wasn’t able to implementy any of my idea above. Would be great if someone has an idea how to start or at least a hint.

basically what I’m suggesting is you could try something “under the hood”, from the database and file system. But maybe it’s difficult for you.

Hey thank you for the reply. But as you said i actually have no Idea where to start…

Any further advice you can tell me?

I’m sorry, but if the user interface can’t do it, and you can’t go down to code or to the database to do it, it’s hard to help… Maybe try to hire someone for a quick project?

Yes that’s true. Actually our guy for the CRM had to leave us and now I’m responsible for the CRM unti we find someone new.

Do you know a good plattform to find people doing projects for Suite?

I know this exists, but I never tried it and I don’t know if it’s “good”:

There’s a company called Urdhva Tech which makes nice add-ons for SuiteCRM and their developer usually frequents these forums. They make projects and consulting.

For bigger projects I would recommend talking also with SalesAgility themselves.
