"Not writable location of your PHP configuration file (php.ini):" message along installation

Hi, I use MacBook Pro 2012 with Mac OS X 11 (El Capitain) and with an Ubuntu 14 Oracle Virtual Machine which contains an Apache Web Server. Am trying to install SuiteCRM 7.4.3 on the same VM.

At the start of installation process, I get the following warning (see screenshot

Warning: not writable
Location of your PHP configuration file (php.ini):
/etc/php5/apache2/php.ini

Even though I set the permission mode of php.ini to 777 (rwxrwxrwx) , the warning hasn’t gone.
Any suggestions to resolve the problem? How fatal is it?
