Not Send Email Templates Using an Email Client?

How do I configure SuiteCRM to NOT use an email client when using email templates?

Hi LMW1,

To use an external email client, click on your user and scroll to the “Email Settings” panel. Here you can select to use the SugarCRM email client, or an external client.

I got the system to let me use the sugar email client under my user profile, but now I can’t send out an actual email using the sugar email client. They don’t go out.

I get this error message:
Error:SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: my_email@yahoo.com

Any ideas on how to get this to work?
