New SuiteCRM -- Importing Contacts -- Thoughts

Guys,
Just looking to get your thoughts…
New SuiteCRM install where good info on accounts but contacts are all only first name (90%)
Solution is to make last name field = full name field (only a label change here) and import.
Can you think of any problems this might cause?

We were going to create a false last name like L1 L2 L3 L4 etc but everybody thinks is it not needed

There shouldn’t be any issue, as the only problem may be links working on the concatenated value, but as long as something is entered in last name, this value will be populated and clickable.
