NEW - INCOMING Gmail Imap Failure

Great Problem, Please help.

Latest SuiteCRM Version 7.11.18
Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

For years our SuiteCRM-Installation has been running perfectly fine .
We do all the updates and are up to date.

But suddenly we can’t register any additional incoming email account with gmail.
**The IMAP connection during installation always shows connection errors. **
This is despite the fact that all the details are correct and all the details are exactly the same as for the fine working gmail accounts - created earlier.

The former installed incoming gmail imap accounts are working with no problems in the same SuiteCRM installation!

Please help. Is it a new bug in the SuiteCRM updates or are there some changes made by gmail ?

Still with SuiteCRM Version 7.11.20 fetching emails from Gmail is too much slow. Everytime we open Emails module, it seems to fetch every email from gmail server again and do not cache them locally.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi @Jog

First, please ensure that your IMAP status is enabled. To do this, go to the Settings option of your Gmail Inbox and then the IMAP section.

Second, you need to allow the less secure apps to access your Google account.
