new, first install, undefined, missing calendar, and other things

I read that sugarcrm is … well has unknown future of the CE version so I searched and found this that looks to be the same but sounds more active and sounds like its a better extension :slight_smile: ?

I downloaded the newest version (not the beta) as of to day and installed. Very easy install.

Im playing a bit around now, created 2 user, a few customers and stuff, but I see a lot of strange things. A lot of popups that just read “undefined” when I do things - also just simple things like when I select to view the list of customers there will for a sec be a small notice while the screen is loading saying “undefined”. More serius problems are that when I try to add the dashlet on the start screen to show the pipeline its pops up what I thing are errors (still just says undefinded) and then shows a empty daslet. I created also a few things in the calendar. This makes the calendar show up as empty in the sense its not showing anything any more.

php version is 5.3.3, the website is running as the same user as the file owner of everything so write permissions are good.

is it a suitecrm issue or hosting issue?

Its a either a hosting issue or a file permissions issue. Try running a quick repair and rebuild.

permission issue. Some files in the cache dir was not owned by the right owner. After the host did a chown everything was ok. So I was just a bit quick to post it seams :slight_smile:

I have the same issues. Unfortunately I have less general php knowledge. Could you please let me know what exactly to do?
