New 500 Internal Server Error

Suitecrm was working fine, up until a few days ago. Now I get a server 500 error…. I did have wordfence fix some ‘risky’ php files on my wordpress site (my page was redirecting to non-business friendly sites)… the wordpress issue is fixed, but I think that may have caused my suitecrm issues…

How do I track what is giving the error to get the installation running again?

On a side note: I have astredex working, so it does send a log of calls from my pbx to suitecrm and I was hoping to enable the pop-up box on my PC screen to link to my client accounts… has any one gotten this to work?

Check your web server, php and database is running or not. You may need to reload or restart it.

Do you have any errors in log files?

I have restarted the web server, database / php is running (other programs use them as well).

Hello Gary,

how would WP and CRM be related?
Do you have the CRM installed in a sub directory of WP?
That alone can lead to issues. Best to install Suite into its own directory, own VHost, own sub domain.

You can’t have WP and SuiteCRM in the same directory. The .htaccess file will cause conflicts. Especially with a security plugin that changes file permissions or restricts access. Its bet practise to have your website in the html directory and SuiteCRM in a subdirectory like crm.mywebsite.com
