Hi. i just installed suitecrm Version : 8.10.1, 7.15.1 from Softaculous on namecheap shared hosting server.
but it doesnt have any sample data. I need sample data to understand it. currently its all empty and i cant make heads and tails of things.
Can someone please share a sample data sql file? I can import it.
Have you selected the load with sample data option during installation?
this option wasnt provided during installation.
I did try to install is via download, extract but for some strange reasons, it was not accepting mysql database login details even though i had created it properly with full permission and i even tested it using myphpadmin by logging to the db.
So i resorted back to Softaculous on namecheap shared hosting server
if i could just get the sample data sql file, i could import it into the db.

any chance of installing the CRM without Softaculous?
Even if you install it on a virtual machine locally, including the sample data from the standard installation, you could simply copy your database.

I’ve never tried to install it afterwards, but if you can find it out somehow with AI someone else here knows, let us know.
PS: That’s why I suggest a standard installation / standard setup. It’s just one click which takes 1 sec during the standard installation. If you go with “special” setups, the instance could be more of a challenge. (How do you do upgrades? JSON API integration?)
