Need a solution :

  1. I want to show a announcement in popup wizard or page after login.
  2. I need to create custom dashboard dashlet, its common for all user when admin post announcement it should show in dashlet.

Advance in thanks. Kindly give me the solution. The same i need to achieve in suitecrm version 8 also.

I can not provide a complete solution, only direct you to where you could possible look to implement.

1). There is a after_login logic hook which you could potentially use to identify the page they are loading i.e. HomePage which would output onto the page a suitable script to create an alert/modal.

Not sure how that would work for Suite 8 to be honest.

  1. This dashlet already exists: Activity Stream. You are able to post to this stream which you can adapt and make it more specific to admins highlighting their posts/announcements further.
