My CSS edits on the stock theme

I’m not advertising anything as I’m not a designer or coder. I didn’t recompile the css because honestly I don’t know how.

My eyesight isn’t what it used to be so I needed something with a little more contrast on the screen but still with the muted colors.

Just wanted to show people that it could be done while we wait “patiently” for the 7.10 upgrade.

Took me about 4 hours with some eating at the desk and jamming to Dave Matthews…and of course some Macallan Scotch throughout.

OFF TOPIC: Dave Mathews! You just gave me a good idea to accompany my work this Saturday morning, thanks  I love the concert with Tim Reynolds!

Nice work, Dave!

SuiteCRM themes are not difficult to customize if you just get stuck in. It took me a weekend of grappling with CSS (from not knowing anything about CSS) to become reasonably adept at changing things.

Like you, my eyes are not what they were and I needed something big-font, “contrasty” and compact … something that would be usable on a laptop, even in daylight. Designers will cringe, but “pretty” did not need to be part of the equation! Attached is my adaptation of Suite P.

I’m looking forward to the theme changes in 7.10, but hope there are some user-changeable theme parameters. If not, I’ll be hacking “syle.css” again!

p.s. Try some Steely Dan, too. B)
