Do you know by any chances if this is a known bug?
I am trying to modify the Module Menu Filters but it does not work at all.
The modules displayed in the menu are custom once made by me and the once that i made visible from Display Modules and Subpanels section.
it works in SuiteCRM 7, but seems to be not in SuiteCRM 8 (I thought I’ve used it before in 8).
I’ve just tried it with standard modules and custom filters, didn’t change anything, despite a repair and re-login.
Maybe someone else can confirm?
Seems that there are some similar issue, but someone else mentioned, that it was working in 8.2:
Hello Mihai, 1. Check Display Modules and Subpanels Configuration:
Navigate to Admin -> Display Modules and Subpanels.
Ensure that the modules you want to display are moved to the "Displayed Modules" section.
2. Configure Module Menu Filters:
Navigate to Admin -> Configure Module Menu Filters.
Ensure that the filters are set up correctly and that the custom modules are included in the filters you want to display.
3. Clear Cache:
Navigate to Admin -> Repair -> Quick Repair and Rebuild.
After running the repair, clear the browser cache or open SuiteCRM in an incognito window to ensure you are seeing the most up-to-date version.
4. File and Directory Permissions:
Ensure that the file and directory permissions are correctly set. Incorrect permissions can prevent SuiteCRM from saving configurations.
