I have a simple question.
Can I freely and free to modify the code to implement SuiteCRM in the company?
I need to earn some extra additional functionality and would like to know whether the license permits to modify the code by me.

Absolutely. Feel free to modify the code to your requirements.

To elaborate on what Paul has said SuiteCRM is released under the AGPL.

As an open source licence this means you are free to modify the code in whatever way you see fit. The only restriction is that, if you distribute your changes, then your code should also be released under the AGPL.
