Modify Menus

HI,
I am trying to crate a new menu say “Service” and want the “Quote” and “Invoice” module to fall under service tab menu,
same for say if i create “Inventory” the “Product” & “Product Catgory” should fall under this tab.
The working process of the modules remains the same.

Thanks

Please help!!

Hi,

You can add items to module menus in the Configure module menus section in Admin.

Thanks,

Will.

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
Could you be more specific. I tried doing what you said.
Admin>Configure Module Menu Filters>Add filter
Named the filter “Client Servicing” and added following four modules to it:
Product Category
Product
Quoute
Invoices
Save and deploy

Now what to do? This isn’t shown anywhere where to use this Client Servicing as a Menu?
Also tried Dropdown Editor but no luck. :frowning:

Hi ankurhora,

My apologies! Group tabs will be part of SuiteCRM 7.1.

Thanks,

Will.

Hi Will,

and when that will be out.
anyways Thanks

Hi ankurhora,

There is a beta release out available from our github repository.

Thanks,

Will.

Also i am unable to see these buttons in my crm as shown in SuiteCRM documentation for quote.
It would be highly appriciated if you can just help me find those too.

Hi ankurhora,

Can you attach a screen shot of your CRM?

Thanks,

Will.

Hi Will,

Here they are in two parts:

Even if i try to create invoice from option shown below it only takes up tha name of quote nothing else.

Hi ankurhora,

The buttons should be available under the drop down next to the edit button in your screen shot. Alternatively you can turn off “Display actions within menus” in the system settings by navigating to Admin -> System Settings.

Thanks,

Will.
