Missing menubar when using an nginx proxy host

I’ve installed SuiteCRM 8.4 as a docker container (Docker: Accelerated Container Application Development) and it works fine, but if I try and use nginx proxy manager to create a proxy host so I can have a https site name the menubar doesn’t show.

this shows the menubar → http my-hostname:8086
this doesn’t → https my-new-hostname
