So I “successfully” completed a migration of my existing SugarCRM system to SuiteCRM using the supplied “upgrade” tool. However whilst testing the new install this afternoon, I have discovered that it is not possible to create new contacts because the upgrade procedure does not create the portal_user_type column in the Contacts table.
I have a feeling there will be more of these “funnies” as I continue to test…
Have you attempted running a Quick Repair & Rebuild in Admin -> Repair and scrolling to the bottom and executing changes? The Quick Repair & Rebuild should identify any differences between the database and vardefs and allow you to execute the fixes.
