Migrating to new server

Hi
So we are running 7.11.23 on a on-prem server. I want to migrate this to an VM hosted in Azure. I have built an instance using the Bitnami stack and that is running fine with version 7.12.2. Now comes the part of moving the data. What is the best practise for importing this data? the old database is about 2GB in size

Is the 7.12.2 a vanilla version or does it include your customisations?

Pedro (@pgr ) created a good guide on preparing for upgrades which also has a lot of useful points about generally how to migrate instances.
