Managing "Terminated" Employees

When an employee leaves our company they are either set as “Leave of Absence” or “Terminated”, I have then created a Workflow that automatically makes the User “Inactive”.

I do not want to delete the Employee as I want to see his historical activity etc. but I do not want him to appear in certain fields so I have two ideas

1: When an Employee is Terminated - can we change the font of his/her entry to have a line through it, so that when it appears in any Popups etc. it is immediately clear the employee should not be selected/assigned etc.


2: How can we hid all “Terminated” employees from popups etc. so that he/she cannot be selected,



Yes, you can hide all “Terminated” employees but its not possible from Studio.

You can create a new popup view in the custom folder and add the where condition in the final query of the employee popup view.

I have looked at the code and I can find the Where clause you are referring to, but to be honest I have no idea of how to structure the statement to exclud “Terminated”
