Make Quote Number and Invoice Number Field Editable

Is there any way to have the Quote and Invoice number fields editable? I have a need for a custom format. Perhaps it is better to just hide the quote or invoice number on the PDF and add a custom field that I use to add a custom quote number?

That’s is a special field. You can change the sequence from Admin->AOS Settings. Now, you mentioned you want to use your custom format… For that I recommend you to create your custom field from Studio and fill it up using Workflow: Workflows :: SuiteCRM Documentation
