Make one or more modules ONLY display "EDIT" even after saving?

Some modules (accounts for example) for my use don’t require a detail view, and in fact, the detail view only causes more mouse clicks.

Does anyone know how to change the links to a given module that will only allow for edit, AND also make it so sub modules will display below as if it was a detail view?

My primary objective is to reduce the number of (in my opinion/use) unnecessary mouse clicks, and increase user productivity.

Interesting, but this would need some code customizations.

Meanwhile, make sure you educate your users about Inline edit, and make sure they can circumvent any quirks (click vs double-click, how to get it to save, etc).
