Not really asking you for help nor do I think people are under my command or under compulsion to do anything for me. How about this? Yayyyy I can’t use the broken template engine to send marketing emails but it’s all good yayyyy!

I believe the following enhancements would really make SuiteCRM stand out:
- Improved Theme. A clean and compact theme like a 2.0 theme. In the minimum a theme editor.
- Each record had its own collaboration field. A user could use an @ symbol to alert another user. A place where comments about the record could be made. This would be much better than a notes record. This field would also have the change log listed.
- This ties into the first two I listed above. A column on the left that shows all the fields for the record and a column on the right which would be the collaboration/change log.
- A File Field. A field that would allow drag and drop or multiple files to be added. (PDFs / Images) and a preview option that was a carousel or gallery preview. Something to replace the current note/attachment as this is cumbersome for users. OneDrive For Business integration would also be great.
- Edit View and Detail view were combined. No need for two views.
- Sub Panels defaulted to an improved tabbed view that showed the number of records in each tab. With an improved theme these tabs could be on the left or right instead of at the bottom and they acted like fly outs.
- Improved Line Items. Line items could be added custom modules. Line items that could be customized. Field level security was added to line items. I want users to view line items but not the prices. Line items should be sortable.
- Duplication check as you type. As you type in a field name such as a contact first or last name it would show if there was a possible duplication.
- Improved searching. List views had search fields above each column that filtered as you typed. Even a Global search in the top right that displayed and filtered records for each module as you typed.
- Field level security.
- More robust and integrated Tasks and Calendars. Improved tasks to include reminders and notifications.
- Improved reporting.
- Kanban View option. Easily switch from List to Kanban and back.
- User login and log out module.
- Auto incrementing field built into each record.

A Major enhancement to AOS - the ability to log payments, create credit notes, account statements is critically important to managing the customer/client relationship . I realise there are commercial solutions that integrate with accounting platforms, but a basic, client account overview is needed in CRM.

Improved GUI enhancements such as displaying sub panels in tabbed format - to save excessive
scrolling.
Suggested SuiteCRM improvement:
The ability to create sophisticated email templates that has HTML code that is not stripped.
Needing to use two additional software programs to send out email campaigns that meet our client’s criteria for presenting their message is not a viable long term solution.
Effective communication via email is critical in today’s business environment.
PLEASE address this issue.

@rsp I’d suggest grape.js builder just like Mautic uses. It’s free and Open Source. It would be beyond my capabilities to integrate it with SuiteCRM, but this would be a HUGE step forward.

I just checked out demo on their website and it looks very advance and perfect fit to SuiteCRM.
