Mails wrongfully marked as opted-out

Hello,

we started our first mail campaign using suiteCRM and a day later 60% of our contacts were marked as “opted-out” including contacts to whom the mail was definelty relevant. We could call a few close contacts and they told us, they did not opt out.

Is there a mechanism, that could mark mail accounts wrongfully as opted out?

We are running on SuiteCRM 7.11.3 right now.

Looks like your tracker URL mixed up with Opted-Out URL.

Do you test emails before sending to real customers?

Yes, we testet the mails for variables like the Name and Salutation, wich worked fine.

But just wasnt aware, that once i use these templates in a campaign that SuiteCRM automatically adds the “Remove Me” Link.

We suspect now that a few of our customers have security measures installed, that check the link before handing it to the mail client and therefore opt out automatically.
